ASISOMos with Sustainability at Industria La Popular, S.A. as of 2018 we defined actions as part of our sustainability strategy with the objective of transforming ourselves into a sustainable business.
The Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations have given us the route to establish lines of work relating Economic, Social and Environmental Axis, based on the Leadership and Governance that has characterized us for more than 100 years. Step by step we seek change, for a clean, beautiful and healthy world for now and our future generations.

Strategic North
Each year we carry out our Strategic North. Faithful to our methodology, we seek to ensure the continuity and long-term positioning of the organization through the creation of value by seeking a balance between the generation of wealth and the use of the different human, material, natural and economic resources and contributing to the progress of the present and future generations.
Identity and Culture in Sustainability
Our Code of Ethics defines the principles of conduct for interaction with our stakeholders. It defines the conduct by which all our collaborators must be governed, being responsible and establishing objectives to be a socially responsible organization.

Focused on the continuous improvement of our internal processes and the innovation of the products we offer to our customers, the economic axis is based on international Management Systems (ISO) and Customer Service.
Continuous Improvement
Integrated Management Systems:
ILP is currently certified to ISO9001:2015, ISO 27001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). Our quality management system helps us to manage our internal processes, under the information security management system, gives certainty to our suppliers and customers that the information handled in both ways is maintained and guarded properly; finally, our environmental management system motivates us to work for the prevention of pollution and to continuously improve our environmental performance.
Within the framework of audits and business ethics, the SMETA audit (Sedex Members Ethical Trading), in the format of 4 pillars which is requested by our customers.
Customer Service
We are focused on satisfying our customers' needs, which is why we seek to integrate it into the heart of our strategy. We generate organizational climate and external customer satisfaction surveys. We have tools for the attention of requests, complaints, claims and suggestions submitted by our customers, in order to provide a timely response.

Social
We focus our efforts on securing our license to operate, working to improve the quality of life of our employees and stakeholders. We have epidemiological surveillance and psychological care for our personnel in order to ensure the integral wellbeing of our collaborators.
We are aware that small actions generate big changes. Therefore, under SDG 17 we believe in strategic alliances that allow us to increase our reach and develop joint projects that generate a positive impact on the development of our stakeholders.

Environmental
Our Environmental Management System provides us with a structure to define progressive actions to transform our operations, ensuring the efficient use of our natural resources and implementing actions to minimize our environmental impact. We transform our operations through the following lines of action:
● Energy transition: One of the key activities to act against climate change. Technology is our fundamental ally in achieving this goal. Renewable energy sources are part of our organization, and energy efficiency is part of our process strategy.
● Circular water economy: We recognize the value of this precious resource, so we implement water reduction, reuse and recycling strategies to take advantage of its characteristics in our processes.
● Carbon footprint: We manage our emissions by measuring their three scopes, which allows us to focus on mitigation and compensation actions. Our waste and residue management focuses on compliance with legislation and recovery of materials for reuse or recycling. We generate awareness through our reforestation program, which gives us the opportunity to increase corporate volunteering and offset our measurements.
